Hello there, Ocean! I found your website while exploring Nekoweb. I've read your blog post about responsive websites, and I can agree with your sentiment.
Also, I've added a button to your website.

came here from your blog about responsive web design. i couldn't agree more! i think responsiveness and accessibility is often an afterthought in the indie web, and i think that's a shame.

I'm hoping it's something we can see change in the short term. So many people don't even have computers anymore. It'll be harder to sell our idea of the indie web to people if we also require them to get a whole new device to use it on. We gotta meet people where they are, and the people are on cell phones.

I don't know where your sleepy town is, but mine was in Texas. I totally get what you mean. I wish it was 2014 again where everyone was out clubbing and loud at night. I wish you well.

I'm wishing you well too. Part of me is still holding on to the idea that things will come back. The economy turning in a better direction may get the bars to stay open later. People are just so married to the idea of homelife now, it feels really hard to drag people out to do anything anymore. I'm not losing hope though!

“ language around this kind of thing has also changed … it’s “media” that is there to be consumed. To be eaten.” You phrased it beautifully and it also made me think

Views on art are changing at a rapid pace, and as someone who values the arts: it's quite alarming!
